Founder and Designer Rachael Rosenblum grew up with an appreciation for aesthetics and quality craftsmanship.
Born and raised in Northeastern Ohio by a landscape architect mom and a dad who worked in the steel industry, she was set on further cultivating and stretching her creativity in the fashion industry. She majored in Fashion Design at Syracuse University and put her dual minor in Textiles and Italian to work studying abroad at the Universita Cattolica in Milan.
For nearly two decades, Rachael developed her creative eye, gained experience in product design and project management, and uncovered a commitment to quality materials while designing apparel and accessories for Banana Republic and Express.

In 2020, Rachael left fashion, began studying interior design at Pratt Institute, and launched Rachael Rosenblum Design. Having lived in Verona for several years before making a home in New York, she maintains a close relationship with Italian textile mills in Como, and her passion for vibrant, quality, textural fabrics is evident in her reupholstery projects and interior design.
Rachael splits her time between Brooklyn and the North Fork of Long Island with her husband and two small children. You can often find her crouching next to an exquisite and musty old chair, flipping through fabric swatches in her studio in Fort Greene.
Our restoration and design services intersect. If you’re restoring furniture, we’ll work with you to make sure the new look fits your space. If you hire us for interior design, we can focus on furnishing your space with vintage and antique finds.
