Description
Mariadela is a Venezuelan/Spanish artist based in Barcelona. I was drawn to her unexpected color palettes and the mix of shapes and texture throughout her work. We partnered to transform this vintage settee using a tufted ‘punching technique’ on the back to create a statement piece. Each yarn is punched through canvas to create a dense knubby texture. This settee will sing across your living room!
