Greenwich Village Apartment

Our client has a true appreciation for unique vintage finds. This home was already adorned with several antique vintage pieces. Our job was to give the apartment a refresh with new window treatments and a new furniture plan that utilized every square inch.
This second floor apartment in the West Village needed some brightening. We updated the drapery with a roman shade/cafe curtain combo. Cafe curtains provide extra privacy but still let the light shine through. We carved out a seating nook in the center of the radiator covers as an additional seating area separate from the sofa. Textiles are Pierre Frey.
We reupholstered the existing sofa in a Holly Hunt green velvet. The secretaries desk is from Chelsea Textiles and serves as a work station with ample storage.
This was our client's existing antique chest of drawers. It really shines bright with the Sister Parish wallpaper in the room.
In this powder room we used a Forsanetti paper. My client loved how taboo it felt to have an audience watching in the washroom.
